Job Description
RAMSGov Corporation is seeking two (2) Licensed Optometrists for a federal healthcare services contract supporting the Indian Health Service (IHS) at Kayenta Health Center in Kayenta, Arizona. This is a temporary federal contract / locum tenens opportunity providing professional optometry services within a government healthcare environment serving Native American communities.

Applicants must be available for federal credentialing requirements and must not be simultaneously represented by multiple staffing agencies for this solicitation opportunity.Position Type:

Locum Tenens Location:
Kayenta Health Center Kayenta, Arizona Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions
- Provide vision care and treatment recommendations
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Comply with IHS policies and federal healthcare standards
- Coordinate with healthcare staff and clinical personnel
- Maintain HIPAA and patient privacy compliance
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Optometrist License in good standing
- Ability to pass federal credentialing and background requirements
- Strong clinical experience
- Professional and reliable communication skills
- Ability to work within a federal healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous IHS, VA, Tribal Health, or federal facility experience
- Experience working in rural healthcare environments
- EMR/EHR familiarity
Compensation:
