Job Description
Overview $10,000 Sign-on Bonus! Hodges Eye and Surgical, a partner of NVISION Eye Centers, is a well-established, patient-centered ophthalmology practice dedicated to providing comprehensive medical and surgical eye care to the Southern Arizona community. Known for its commitment to clinical excellence and personalized care, Hodges Eye and Surgical offers a full spectrum of services focused on long-term vision health. Through its partnership with NVISION, the practice blends the familiarity and continuity of a trusted local group with the advanced technology, resources, and operational support of a leading national ophthalmology platform—allowing physicians to focus on delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive, high-quality environment. This role plays an important part in advancing that mission by prioritizing exceptional patient care, providing general ophthalmology services, and educating patients on cataract surgery and lifestyle lens options to support long-term vision health.
Compensation:
$600 - $700 per day with bonus opportunities available. Responsibilities Leads all clinical aspects of ensuring the best patient care for all general ophthalmology, cataract, refractive and glaucoma patients. Interacts with center and surgeon to ensure full communication between the surgeon and the staff in areas of surgical protocol, patient management and medication schedule. Performs pre and post- operative care including patient education, refractions and medical management for patients at center and assists doctors with pre and post-operative care when complications arise. Follows-up with co-managing/referring doctors regarding patient status and results. Interest in performing Light Adjustable Lenses highly preferred Qualifications Licensed Optometrist in the state of Arizona Cataract experience preferred Desire to be an integral part in providing an exceptional patient experienceBilingual Preferred- Spanish/English Location Highlights:
