Optometrist Full-Time | Private Practice | Arcata, California Position Overview Are you looking for an opportunity where you can practice full-scope optometry while maintaining an excellent work-life balance? This established private practice in Northern California is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join its growing team. Both experienced optometrists and new graduates are encouraged to apply. This role offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive and medical optometry in a supportive setting, without evenings or weekends. Location This opportunity is located in a small coastal college town in Northern California . The area offers clean air, clear water, minimal traffic, and a slower pace of life, while still providing the energy and culture of a college community. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, and nearby coastal activities, along with access to boutique fitness studios and a vibrant local arts scene. Practice Overview The practice is a well-established, two-doctor private practice with a strong, experienced support team. The office is fully equipped with modern diagnostic and clinical technology, allowing providers to deliver high-quality, comprehensive eye care. Services include full-scope medical optometry, specialty contact lenses, dry eye management, and routine vision care. The practice benefits from a diverse patient population, including both younger patients associated with a nearby university and a loyal, long-standing local patient base.
