Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated associate optometrist to join our team. This is a long-term PT position. No Saturdays. Great location, parking and team!
What You'll Need:
Proficiency in eyewear recommendations and prescriptions Interest in myopia control, advanced dry eye treatments, specialty CL fittings Ability to connect with people and establish trust quickly Commitment to the continued growth of our expanding practice Ability to clearly communicate with staff and patients to ensure optimal patient experience Team player mindset and curiosity to learn! A Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree A Valid CA state license to practice optometry Are currently residing within commuting distance of the practice
What You'll Do:
Perform comprehensive eye exams, CL fittings, dry eye consults, medical exams, pre and post op care for LASIK or Cataract patients Prescribe to lifestyle visual needs and discuss options Ensure seamless handoffs in support of eyewear prescriptions Maintain detailed & accurate patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress. Refer to proper secondary care, write referral letters and follow-up care Provide support to the practice during downtime as the opportunity arises Understand and abide by HIPAA and latest FTC mandates
Pay:
$500.00 - $800.00 per day
