We can't wait to meet you! Responsibilities Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose ocular diseases. Interpret diagnostic tests and determine appropriate treatment plans for patients. Prescribe corrective lenses and medications as needed. Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the importance of regular eye exams. Stay current with advancements in optometry and related fields through continuous education. Experience Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Qualifications Strong clinical skills in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing visual conditions Experience in prescribing and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment Knowledge of current optometry practices and technologies Active license to practice optometry in California Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution
