Job Description

Join Our Team as a Pediatric Optometrist - Make a Difference in Children's Vision Health! Are you passionate about providing exceptional eye care to pediatric patients? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Optometrist to join our dynamic healthcare team starting August 3, 2026. Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years' experience working with pediatric populations in a medical setting Proven expertise in pediatric optometry, including strabismus and binocular vision exams Experience with complex pediatric contact lens fittings preferred Strong clinical skills for managing diverse cognitive and developmental conditions Ability to efficiently operate EMR systems (Epic knowledge a plus) Excellent communication skills with patience and empathy for young patients Nice to
Have Skills:
Pediatric residency or specialized training in pediatric optometry Experience working with children on the autism spectrum and other developmental delays Familiarity with high-acuity pediatric care and co-management with other pediatric specialties Additional certifications in pediatric or developmental eye care
Preferred Education and Experience:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution CA State License in Optometry BLS Certification At least 3 years of relevant experience, with residency highly preferred
Other Requirements:
Valid CA optometry license BLS certification Willingness to work 5 days a week (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60-90 days Ability to perform contact lens fittings, including complex cases, is preferred Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements are available as applicable This is your chance to join a compassionate team committed to exceptional pediatric eye care.
