Job Description
Urban Optiks Optometry is a privately owned, non-corporate, design-forward optometric practice in San Diego seeking a confident, patient-focused OD to join our team for a Saturday schedule. This is an ideal opportunity for an OD looking for a premium, low-volume clinical environment in a boutique setting, with strong support and a patient base that values thoughtful, individualized care. The Experience Thoughtful, personalized patient care with extended exam times No high-volume or quota-driven environment Advanced diagnostic technology including OCT (Topcon Maestro 2), corneal topography (CA-800), and digital refraction (CV-5000) Upscale, design-driven clinical setting with a highly curated patient base Collaborative team with experienced optical support Schedule Saturdays only (open to every Saturday - or - every other Saturday) Potential opportunity for additional coverage days based on availability and practice needs. What We're Looking For Strong refraction, diagnostic, and contact lens skills Clear, confident communicator with a patient-first approach Comfortable discussing premium lens and visual solutions Experience with OfficeMate/ExamWriter and modern diagnostic platforms preferred About the Role This position is well-suited for an OD who values precision, elevated patient care, and a more intentional approach to optometry.
