Job Description

We are currently seeking an Optometrist to provide preventive and restorative eye care for all patients, diagnosing and treating vision-related symptoms, as well as instructing staff on how to assist in patient treatment. This position will report to the Vice President of Optometric Services. This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice.
Pay range:
$140K-$165K/yr Job Responsibilities Deliver high-quality care and service by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary procedures Provide comprehensive professional vision treatment plans to help them achieve optimal vision health, using accepted clinical and diagnostic techniques Build a community within the practice that fosters teammate satisfaction and retention by developing strategies to achieve organizational goals, being available to staff, accepting feedback from others, developing subordinates' skills, and encouraging growth Arrange for referral to vision specialists when appropriate Prepare a doctor case file including medical history, informing patients on general care and health of eyes at regular time intervals, and staying informed on the latest vision treatment techniques Job Qualifications State optometry license in good standing Strong interest in working with children Ability to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI number Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time In addition to the job description, you will be asked to perform other duties that support the business and our mission.
