``` We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our team. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the overall health of our patients' eyes. ```- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and detect any eye conditions or diseases
- Prescribe corrective lenses or other vision aids as needed
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
- Provide pre
- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems (such as Epic)
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry and attend continuing education courses as required ```
Skills:
```- Strong patient care skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients
- Excellent sales skills to effectively communicate the benefits of recommended treatments or products
- Experience working with senior patients and understanding their unique needs and challenges
- Knowledge of optical equipment, tools, and technologies used in eye examinations
- Familiarity with medical terminology and physiology to accurately diagnose and communicate with other healthcare professionals
- Experience working with electronic medical record systems to maintain accurate patient records
