Looking for an OD who wants flexibility + real growth —not corporate volume. At Fritz & Hawley Guild Opticians, you'll have the opportunity to build your own patient base within an established, high-demand practice , supported by an experienced team and a steady flow of patients. Fritz & Hawley Guild Opticians is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to join our growing practice serving New Haven and Hamden, Connecticut . We are a 125-year-old optical boutique combining modern technology with a highly personalized patient experience. With strong and increasing demand for eye exams, we are expanding our in-person exam services and looking for the right OD to help build and grow with us. We're specifically looking for someone hungry to build a practice , who values flexibility, autonomy, and a supportive team environment —without the pressure of a high-volume corporate setting.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive eye exams Prescribe glasses and contact lenses Maintain accurate and compliant patient records Collaborate with the optical team to deliver a seamless patient experience

Qualifications:

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree Active Connecticut license (or ability to obtain) Strong clinical and communication skills Growth mindset and patient-first approach
