Optometrist (OD)
Location:
Gainesville, FL (local travel•all expenses covered)
Schedule:

All Travel Expenses Covered:
Mileage, hotels, medical cart & supplies Be Done by 2 PM Most Days•See 20-40 patients/day in LTC & nursing facilities Malpractice Insurance 100% Covered Revenue-Based Compensation + Competitive Commissions Work Autonomously while still having full administrative and clinical support What You'll Do Perform comprehensive eye exams for long-term care and nursing home patients (1-2 facilities per day) Diagnose and treat a range of ocular conditions Prescribe corrective lenses and create tailored treatment plans Educate patients and facility staff on preventive eye health Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR/EHR systems Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Requirements Active Florida OD License (Required) Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree Licensed through the National Board of Examiners in Optometry Willingness to travel locally (all travel expenses paid)

80-150 beds
Facility Visits:
1-2 per day
Patient Volume:
20-40/day
Average Workday:
5-6 hours
Availability:
