NEW GRADS WELCOME
Coverage needed: Saturdays 4 to 6 hours (flexible on the time of day) in Aventura Another day (somewhat flexible) in Aventura or Miami Gardens of 4-6 hours. Job Summary Primary care sublease optometry performing routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, and the occasional office visit. Responsibilities Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose eye conditions. Prescribe corrective lenses and other treatments based on patient needs. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Take quality Optos images in various points of gaze - will train if no prior experience Must be computer savvy and able to efficiently work with an electronic records system. Spanish is helpful, though not required. Pay Expect to be in the competitive range of 80-110 per hour equivalent. Bonus structure can be implemented. Also may elect to simply keep a percentage of collected fees - see more, make more; high contact lens volume ($) and high Optos rate potential ($), especially on Saturdays in Aventura.
