The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye care services, including eye examinations, diagnosis and management of ocular conditions, and vision correction. This role is ideal for a clinician who values high-quality patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative, customer-centered environment. This position will require travel between offices located in Lakeland, FL and Riverview, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive eye examinations for patients ages 8 and up! Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and vision disorders Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and other vision aids Educate patients on eye health, preventative care, and treatment options Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulations Collaborate with staff to ensure an exceptional patient experience Stay current with advancements in optometry and best practices
Qualifications:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution Active state optometry license in good standing Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
Schedule & Work Environment:
3-5 days a week Office hours of Monday - Saturday Modern, well-equipped practice with supportive staff
