Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Optometrist to join an established independent private practice serving the Aurora area. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy practice with an existing patient base, experienced support staff, established insurance relationships, and immediate patient demand. The practice is primarily focused on routine eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and comprehensive vision care, allowing providers to focus on delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive private practice environment. Whether you are an experienced Optometrist looking for a long-term home or a new graduate seeking mentorship and growth, this position offers clinical autonomy, stability, and long-term opportunity. What You'll Do Perform comprehensive eye examinations Diagnose and manage ocular health conditions within the scope of practice Prescribe glasses and contact lenses Educate patients on eye health and treatment options Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Collaborate with experienced opticians and support staff to deliver an outstanding patient experience Build long-term relationships with patients and families What We Offer Competitive compensation of $600-$650 per day Flexible employment structure ( W-2 or 1099 ) Potential equity and partnership opportunities available for the right candidate Established patient base with immediate patient demand Experienced optical and administrative support staff Established insurance relationships and credentialing support Modern optical dispensary Flexible scheduling options Long-term growth and leadership opportunities Independent private practice environment Opportunity to help expand clinical availability and patient access Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree Active Illinois Optometry License (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Strong clinical and interpersonal skills Commitment to providing exceptional patient care Experience in comprehensive vision care and contact lens fittings preferred but not required New graduates are encouraged to apply Schedule Full-Time Preferred Flexible scheduling available, including alternative scheduling arrangements for the right candidate.
