This is an excellent opportunity for providers looking for a structured, low-stress clinical role focused exclusively on objective eye evaluations. This position is non-treatment based —there is no prescribing, no refractions, and no ongoing patient management . You'll perform comprehensive eye examinations, document objective findings, and complete electronic reports that assist the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in disability benefit determinations. Up to 5 Veterans per day Flexible weekday scheduling No evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities No prescribing or treatment responsibilities No refractions or ongoing patient care Electronic documentation system provided Must provide your own clinic or office location Must be within 100 miles Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye examinations for VA Disability Compensation & Pension (C&P) evaluations. Evaluate ocular health and document objective clinical findings. Complete electronic medical documentation accurately and thoroughly. Follow standardized VA examination and reporting guidelines. Maintain professional, compassionate communication with Veterans throughout the examination process. Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience. Submit completed examination reports within established timelines.
