Part-Time Optometrist - Veterans Exams | $800/Day | Wichita, KS Conduct non-treatment disability eye exams for U.S. Veterans in a structured, low-volume clinical environment. This position is focused strictly on evaluations—no prescribing, treatment, refraction, or follow-up care required. Schedule Part-time 1 day per week Flexible scheduling 1-5 exams per day Compensation $800 per day Predictable schedule and consistent workload Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye exams for disability evaluations Complete standardized electronic documentation No refractions, treatment, or ongoing care Requirements Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree Active Kansas optometry license Basic EMR proficiency Professional, compassionate approach with Veterans Highlights Evaluation-only role (no treatment responsibilities) Low patient volume Flexible, reliable part-time income Meaningful work serving
