LUSK EYE CENTER CULTURE
Our culture at Lusk Eye Specialists is as unique as our family history. Founder surgeon, James Lusk came to Shreveport over 40 years ago to develop a practice founded on family practice. Over the years, his two sons have joined the practice and continued his culture of treating patients like family by family. Each quarter, time is set aside to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, practice successes and unique patient stories. We are also committed to helping our local communities, which is why we founded 'Giving Thanks, Saving Vision,' where our local optometrists refer their less fortunate patients who need cataract surgery but are without insurance or the ability to pay. It is the best reminder of what we are truly trained and prepared to do as eye doctors.
ABOUT SHREVEPORT
In additional to hosting most of the hottest touring bands in the country at our local casinos, Shreveport is among the most affordable places to live in the entire country. We are a close drive to several metropolitan areas, including Dallas (2 hours), Houston (4 hours) and New Orleans (5 hours). Our private and public schools offer excellent educational training and opportunities for children of all ages.
