Job Description

We are seeking an Optometrist for a 60-day assignment with our client in Montana, starting Jul 13, 2026. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This assignment involves managing a comprehensive range of optometry cases, from infant to elder, including urgent issues, traumas, and post-operative care, with appointment lengths varying from 15 to 45 minutes. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive optometry care for patients ranging from infants to elders. Manage urgent ocular issues requiring medical and therapeutic intervention. Address complex cases including traumas, post-operative care, glaucoma, macular degeneration, uveitis, and diabetic retinopathy. Perform minor procedures such as lash epilation, punctual dilation/irrigation, corneal and conjunctival foreign body removals, and application of bandage contact lenses and pressure patches. Utilize available onsite equipment, including phoropter, slit lamp, eye chart, and exam chair. Conduct patient appointments with varying lengths between 15 and 45 minutes, depending on the patient's age and case complexity.
