Join a team dedicated to providing high-quality eye care directly to residents in senior living and care communities in the Raleigh area . Deliver care in a supportive, well-equipped environment while focusing entirely on what you do best—helping patients see clearly. Why This Role is
Rewarding:
See 30-40 patients per day, visiting 1-2 facilities daily in Fayetteville, NC Work as a two-person team (OD + Vision Tech) Make all clinical decisions while administrative tasks—scheduling, billing, pre-authorizations—are handled for you Flexible schedule with no evenings or weekends required Competitive compensation as a 1099
Independent Contractor Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive eye exams using state-of-the-art portable equipment Diagnose and treat ocular diseases and vision impairments Prescribe, fit, adjust, and repair eyeglasses Perform retinal photography, diabetic retinal evaluations, dry eye treatments, and fall risk assessments Educate patients, families, and staff on vision care and optical concerns Recommend follow-up care and treatments as needed
What We Provide:
Trained vision tech to assist with all visits Portable, advanced equipment including auto-refractor, retinal camera, hand-held slit lamp, and Tonopen Laptop for documentation and full office support Field support and mentorship from Clinical Director A team that handles all scheduling, billing, IT support, and patient coordination
