We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Optometrist to join our growing practice. Job Overview The Optometrist will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing visual and ocular health issues, and recommending appropriate treatments or corrective measures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in patient care, and optical services within a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving patients' vision and overall eye health through professional, compassionate care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough eye examinations utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to assess visual acuity, ocular health, and physiological function. Diagnose and manage common eye conditions, including refractive errors, glaucoma, cataracts, and other ocular diseases. Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, or medical treatments tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and proper use of optical products to enhance their understanding and satisfaction. Collaborate with optical staff to recommend suitable eyewear options based on patient preferences and prescriptions. Stay current with advancements in optometry practices, and medical terminology through ongoing professional development. Requirements Valid licensure as an Optometrist with appropriate state or regional certification. Excellent patient care skills complemented by outstanding customer service abilities.
