About Our Practice Doctors at Arclight Eye Care can practice to the fullest scope of our licensed rights including comprehensive eye exam, contact lenses fitting, medical treatments, myopia control and more! Optometrist Job Duties & Responsibilities We are searching for a talented OD to join our growing practice! The ideal OD candidate is committed to delivering quality patient care, and is eager to learn and develop their clinical skillset.
Your regular duties will include:
Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity, eye health, and overall ocular function. Diagnose and manage eye diseases and conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Prescribe corrective lenses and provide recommendations for vision therapy and other treatments. Educate patients about eye health, preventive care, and the importance of regular eye exams. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay current with the latest advancements in optometry and integrate best practices into patient care. Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications Valid Nevada state optometry license. Strong clinical skills with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of ocular conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
