Position Overview:

A busy and growing practice in Riverhead is seeking an Optometrist to join the team. The role can start as part‑time with the opportunity to transition into a full‑time position as the practice continues to grow. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and providing high‑quality eye care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive eye examinations Diagnose and manage common vision and eye health conditions Prescribe corrective lenses and treatment plans Educate patients on eye health and preventive care Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative team

Qualifications:

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York Spanish speaking preferred Strong clinical and patient communication skills Ability to work in a busy clinical environment
