The successful candidate will work on an NIH-funded project studying auditory perception and neuroscience in participants with normal and impaired hearing.
Responsibilities:
(30%) Assist with experimental planning, design, and execution of psychoacoustic experiments, including participants across the adult lifespan with and without hearing loss, and conduct hearing screening of participants. (30%) Code in Matlab or other program for stimulus generation, presentation, and analysis, as well as data analysis. (25%) Prepare data for publication and presentation via peer-reviewed journal articles and conference presentations. (10%) Assist with supervising undergraduate research assistants in the lab. (5%) Meet with supervisor and lab manager on a regular basis.
Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:
Publications and conference presentations in the field of auditory perception or a closely related area. Clinical audiology qualification (AuD)
Required Qualifications:
PhD in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences, Psychology, or related field
