In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with prosthetists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care by fitting, adjusting, and delivering custom orthotic devices. Your expertise will help improve mobility, stability, and quality of life for patients across all age groups. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your specialized skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment dedicated to innovation and compassionate service. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical examinations to assess patients' orthotic needs and ensure proper fit and function of devices Collaborate with prosthetists and medical teams to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's physiology and lifestyle Educate patients on the proper use, care, and maintenance of their orthotic devices to maximize comfort and effectiveness Perform detailed measurements, modifications, and adjustments to orthotic devices ensuring optimal fit and patient satisfaction Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, device specifications, and treatment progress in compliance with medical terminology standards Uphold strict aseptic techniques during fittings and adjustments to prevent infections or complications Stay informed on the latest advancements in orthotics technology, anatomy knowledge, and best practices through ongoing professional development Requirements Certification as a Licensed Orthotist, Prosthetist or Orthotic Fitter with relevant state or national credentials Proven post-residency experience in orthotics fitting and patient care within a clinical setting Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health Experience working with pediatric populations (Pediatrics) is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to perform physical examinations and assessments accurately Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in healthcare environments Excellent communication skills focused on delivering compassionate patient service and education Join us in making a meaningful difference by helping individuals regain mobility and confidence through expert orthotic care.
