This position is responsible for coordinating clinical activities that support policies, goals, and objectives established and approved by the CEO. The CPO shall supervise all aspects of patient care services provided by O&P Clinics and its affiliates including laboratory and materials management. Working from a solutions-oriented approach, the CPO oversees clinical performance to ensure medical services and operations are in compliance with all applicable regulatory, OSHA, and HIPAA. The CPO is responsible for implementing, reviewing and developing clinical protocols, performance objectives, productivity benchmarks, compliance measures, clinician workflow planning, chart review, and clinician scheduling. The position also serves as a coach/mentor/trainer to the clinical staff giving guidance in best practices. The CPO will also oversee materials management including maintaining inventory, reviewing and proposing new products, will meet with vendors regarding products and pricing, and ensure that all offices and DME closets are stocked at all times. The CPO will ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures for reception, including patient privacy. Will maintain departmental day-to-day front office operations, monitor and prioritize workflow, hospital calls, and efficient patient flow. Resolve complex patient complaints, and answer questions regarding policies and procedures. The position also requires meetings with outside providers, hospitals, and other clients as deemed applicable and necessary by the CEO. The position requires opening and closing the main office.
