Job Description

Are you a skilled Pedorthist zealous about helping patients achieve better mobility and comfort? We're partnering with a well-established orthotics and prosthetics practice in the Greater New Orleans area that's seeking a dedicated Pedorthist to join their multidisciplinary clinical team. About the Opportunity This practice has been providing exceptional orthotic and prosthetic care for over three decades, specializing in custom fabrication and fitting services for patients of all ages. The Pedorthist will be an important contributor to a patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes and personalized care. What You'll Do As a Pedorthist, you will: Evaluate patients' lower extremity biomechanics and footwear needs Design, fabricate, modify, and fit custom foot orthotics and related devices Work collaboratively with orthotists, prosthetists, clinicians, and technical staff Educate patients (and caregivers) on proper use, care, and maintenance of orthotic footwear and supports Ensure optimal fit, function, and patient satisfaction through ongoing follow-up What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate brings: Certification as a Pedorthist (C.Ped.) or equivalent credential Clinical experience in orthotic assessment and fabrication (foot orthotics, shoe modifications, braces) Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-focused care Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary practice Why Join This Team?
