Orthotist/Prosthetist - Traveling Role (North Jersey)
Compensation:
$90,000-$95,000 annually + $3,000 Sign on Bonus!
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, Full‑

Travel:
Visits to rehab centers & nursing homes throughout North Jersey Position Overview A well‑established medical supply company is seeking a Certified Orthotist/Prosthetist to provide on‑site patient care across multiple nursing homes and rehabilitation centers in North Jersey. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys autonomy, travel within a defined territory, and meaningful patient interaction in post‑acute and long‑term care settings. Responsibilities Travel to assigned facilities across North Jersey to evaluate and treat patients Perform orthotic assessments and fittings for residents in nursing homes and rehab centers Fabricate, adjust, and repair devices as clinically appropriate Document patient encounters accurately and in compliance with facility and payer requirements Collaborate with facility staff including therapy, nursing, and medical teams Provide patient and caregiver education on device use and care Maintain equipment and supplies needed for on‑site visits Ensure high‑quality, compassionate care for a geriatric population Qualifications CO/BOC or ABC certification Active New Jersey licensure Strong patient care and communication skills 1+ years of experience preferred Comfort working in nursing home settings and with geriatric patients Reliable transportation for daily travel within the region Pomera Care is a Healthcare Recruitment and Consulting agency.
