About Orthopro Orthopro is a patient-focused orthotic and prosthetic practice serving the Reno community. We work directly with patients, physicians, and therapists to deliver custom devices that restore mobility and improve quality of life. Our team is hands-on, collaborative, and committed to making a real difference for every patient who walks through our door. About the Role We're hiring a Certified Orthotic Fitter or a Prosthetist Assistant to help around our Reno office. This is a great opportunity for someone who is starting their career in orthotics and prosthetics — or who has some experience and is looking for a stable, full-time role with a growing practice. No prior O&P experience is required; we are willing to train the right person. Certification is a plus but not mandatory at hire. What You'll Do Assist clinicians with patient fittings, adjustments, and follow-up appointments Take measurements, casts, and scans for custom orthoses and prostheses Help with fabrication, modifications, and minor repairs of devices Prepare exam rooms, materials, and equipment before patient visits Maintain accurate patient records and assist with insurance documentation Provide friendly, professional support to patients and their families Keep the office and lab areas clean, organized, and stocked Pitch in wherever needed to keep the practice running smoothly What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a positive attitude Comfortable working with your hands and learning technical skills Good communication skills — you'll be interacting with patients every day Basic computer skills (scheduling, EMR, email) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Genuine interest in patient care and the O&P field Nice to Have (Not Required) ABC or BOC certification as an Orthotic Fitter (COF) or experience as a Prosthetist Assistant / Technician Prior experience in a healthcare, medical device, or rehabilitation setting Familiarity with insurance verification or medical billing What We Offer Competitive salary of $60,000 per year if certified Full-time, stable schedule (Monday-Friday) On-the-job training and mentorship from experienced clinicians Opportunity to grow into a certified role with company support Supportive, team-oriented work environment Meaningful work helping patients regain mobility and independence How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed with your resume.
