Developing and nurturing orthotic-prosthetic student leaders who are: inquisitive, welcoming, engaging and competent problem-solvers who have a passion for person-centered care while leading change in the profession of orthotics and prosthetics. Job Summary Assist and support instructors, fabrication, measurement, impression taking, modification, and fitting of upper limb prosthetics in the clinical portion of Upper Limb Prosthetics course. This is a support role to the course coordinator. The support role assists in the safety of the students during fabrication and patient model evaluation and fittings. (in-person) Essential Functions Assist in Labs with Patient Models Assist in modification and fabrication labs Monitor patient models and students' safety in labs Support instructions, fabrication, measurement, impression taking, modification, and fitting of upper limb prosthetics in the clinical portion Monitor and record student participation on the Discussion Board. Required Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelors Degree Minimum of 3-years of experience Must be an ABC Prosthetist (CP) and/or Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) Experience in Upper Limb Prosthetics patient care Preferred Qualifications (Optional) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Fabrication techniques Computer Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel) Location (choose one of the following) Salus at Drexel University campus (Elkins Park, PA) In-Person Special Instructions to the Applicant Please make sure you upload your CV/resume and cover letter when submitting your application.
