The Prosthetist/Orthotist Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist to assist with patient care, device fabrication, device delivery, follow-up care, patient education, and clinical operations. The successful candidate must be able to meet all requirements established by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), including 8 semester hours of Anatomy & Physiology, 3 semester hours of Medical Terminology, 3 semester hours of Physics. The successful candidate will complete a paid 1500-hour residency with our company and eventually obtain a license as a Prosthetist/Orthotist Assistant.
