Job description We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Oncology - General/Other to provide high-quality patient care in Martinsville, VA, located in Chesapeake, VA. Job Responsibilities Manage and treat a diverse oncology patient population, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment strategies. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document clinical findings accurately. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory results. Provide patient education on treatment options, side effects, and supportive care. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. Maintain detailed and timely medical records in accordance with policies. Skills & Qualifications Valid MD/DO license to practice in Virginia. Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of oncology protocols and treatments. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare teams. Benefits Competitive compensation package.
