Job Description:
Master Medics EMS is actively building a team of experienced EMTs and Paramedics to work a corporate event at Washington Hilton. Potential for more events after the fact. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to supplement their income with flexible, per diem assignments across live events, corporate events, and film/television productions.
Event Location:
Washington Hilton Hotel 1919 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20009 Parking will be covered
Scheduled Work Day:
Tuesday June 16th 0600-2200 (16 Hours)

Selected candidates will be contacted according to the following:
MUST POSSESS OR BE WILLING TO INVEST IN A FULLY STOCKED AND COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL JUMP BAG. SMALL FIRST AID KITS DO NOT QUALIFY FOR THIS.
Guidance will be provided to applicants who are willing to invest in putting together a medical kit. If you are starting with absolutely nothing, be prepared to invest $100

MUST HAVE ALL EQUIPMENT READY 1-2 DAYS BEFORE EVENT DATE.
Responsibilities:
Provide on-site medical standby for event crew and attendees Perform Basic Life Support (BLS) level assessment and Deliver First-Aid level treatment. Perform patient assessments and documentation as needed Coordinate with local EMS when higher level of care and/or transport is required Maintain readiness of medical equipment and supplies Represent yourself and Master Medics EMS in a professional manner at all times
Requirements:
Active California EMT or Paramedic License (Required) Current BLS Certification (Required) Must have a fully stocked medical jump bag as mentioned above Strong communication and decision-making skills Ability to work independently in dynamic environments Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in event medical standby or film/TV production preferred Crowd management or high-volume event experience Ability to work long shifts
Medical Kit Requirements:
NO PLAIN DUFFLE BAGS OR BACKPACKS AS YOUR MAIN BAG.
If you choose to have a small "go bag" for quick grab items, the bag may be plain, but it cannot be your main bag. The go bag should be small, intentional, and organized. Vitals & Diagnostic Equipment
