Our team of skilled professionals is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients during transport. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Flight Paramedic to join our team as a contractor in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Job Description:
As a Contracted Flight Paramedic at Acute Air, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced medical care to patients during air medical transport. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced life support care to patients during air transport, including airway management, medication administration, and patient assessment. Monitor patients' vital signs and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans. Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans. Ensure all medical equipment is properly maintained and ready for use. Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in emergency medical care.
Qualifications:
Certified Paramedic in the state of Florida Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paramedic, with at least 1 year in a critical care or emergency setting. Experience in air medical transport is preferred but not required. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in high-stress environments. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Current Passport Drug Screen and Background check required Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Available within a 45-minute drive from
