Job Description

- Job Summary and Qualifications
- The ER Paramedic will collect and convey information to both their team members and the attending Physician regarding the health status of patients.
Essential Functions:
+ Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQU) initiatives + Maintains competence in documentation + Answer and receive patient report from EMS on radio ( not allowed to give or take orders over radio)- Receive EMS hand off reports at facility + Utilize SBAR ( Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) for communication + Support and represent the facility's Core Values while performing the role + Attend meetings and in-services as required by departmental policy
- What qualifications you will need:
- + Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + Advanced Provider Course ITLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date + PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date + Paramedic + High School Graduate / GED No Travel Required No experience Required Years of Experience •Benefits•HCA Florida Ocala Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
