Job Description

Job Summary:
Perform a variety of emergency operations and paramedic duties to protect lives and property in simultaneous fire suppression, search and rescue, patient care activities and assure that all emergency equipment remains ready at all times to respond to emergency and non-emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Georgia State Certified Paramedic or National Registry Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support Pediatric Life Support or Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Trauma Life Support or Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), along with the ability to obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated Must meet all in-house testing requirements Applicant must pass a background check and drug screening Dawson County is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug Free Work Place.
