The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency medicine and critical care transport, with experience in both Level I and Level II Trauma Centers. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pre-hospital care to patients in various emergency situations, ensuring their safety and well-being during transport to medical facilities. Must have a Illinois, Missouri, or National Paramedic license. Responsibilities Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate emergency medical care based on established protocols. Administer medications and perform advanced life support techniques as needed. Utilize medical terminology and physiology knowledge to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, including DME (Durable Medical Equipment). Ensure aseptic technique is followed during all procedures to prevent infection. Collaborate with other healthcare providers in the hospital setting to facilitate patient care. Document all patient interactions, treatments administered, and outcomes accurately in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in emergency medicine. Current Paramedic certification from an accredited program. Valid state driver's license and clean driving record. Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is preferred. Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and critical care transport procedures. Familiarity with medical terminology, physiology, and medication administration techniques. Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stress environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
