Paramedic (Full-Time)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly trained paramedic to provide advanced life support (ALS) services on a 24-hour basis within Pike Township, Marion County, and adjoining areas as needed through mutual aid agreements. The paramedic will perform ALS skills in accordance with protocols and procedures established by medical control and the provider hospital.

Dedicated in ensuring the well-being and safety of every individual served, delivering care with empathy, professionalism, and excellence in every situation. Advocate for the best interests of patients, addressing their needs and concerns with respect and dignity. Work collaboratively with EMS team members, healthcare providers, and public safety personnel to ensure seamless and effective care. Stay updated on the latest medical protocols, techniques, and advancements in EMS through continuous education and training. Actively engage with the community through outreach programs, health education, and public safety initiatives to promote wellness and preparedness. In high-stress emergency situations, maintain composure and professionalism, ensuring clear communication and decisive action. Ensure all medical equipment and vehicles are properly maintained, stocked, and ready for use at all times. Uphold the highest standards of ethical behavior, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions. Provide care that is respectful of and responsive to the diverse cultural backgrounds of patients and their families. Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients, colleagues, and myself during emergency responses.

Job Requirements Education :

High School Diploma or GED (minimum).

Licenses/Certifications :

Valid Driver's License and Indiana Paramedic License or National Registry certification (required).

Availability:

Must be available to work rotating 24-hour shifts (7:00 am - 7:00 am with 48 hours off between shifts and a Kelly day). Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.
