Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled EMT, AEMT, or EMT-P to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an EMS Provider, you will play a crucial role in providing emergency medical care to patients in various settings, including urgent care and critical care transport. You will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering necessary treatments, and ensuring safe transport to healthcare facilities. Your expertise in patient assessment and care will greatly contribute to the well-being of those in urgent need. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the nature and extent of medical conditions. Administer injections and perform venipuncture as required for patient treatment. Monitor vital signs and provide appropriate interventions based on findings. Assist with heavy lifting of patients during transport or when necessary. Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining a calm demeanor in emergency situations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in emergency rooms (ER) and other medical settings to ensure continuity of care. Participate in critical care transport operations, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during transit. Document all patient interactions, treatments administered, and any changes in condition accurately. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Proven experience in patient assessment techniques and emergency response protocols. Familiarity with administering injections and performing venipuncture procedures. Ability to handle heavy lifting associated with patient transport safely. Proficient in monitoring vital signs and responding appropriately to changes. Experience working in urgent care or emergency room settings is highly desirable.
