Description Job Description The Paramedic is responsible for the pre-hospital treatment and transport of the sick and/or injured as set by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Patient Care Protocols for all age groups including infant's birth to two years; children two to 18; adults 18-65 and Geriatrics 65- expiration. The Paramedic uses advanced life support procedures, including intravebnous cannulation, endotracheal intubation, recognition and management of cardiac arrhythmias, and administration of drugs and intravenous fluids. Other duties may be assigned to the Paramedic by the Supervisor or Director. Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Paramedic License from the Commonwealth of Kentucky
Minimum Work Experience
Preferred 12 months as a Paramedic Required Skills
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid drivers' license with clean driving record.
