Paramedic:
As a Paramedic with Madison County EMS, you will: Respond promptly to 911 calls, providing both Basic & Advanced Life Support (BLS & ALS) care. Assess, treat, and transport patients in pre-hospital and interfacility settings following our protocols. Collaborate with hospitals, fire departments, police, and other emergency responders to deliver the best patient outcomes. Ensure accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of all patient care reports. Maintain ambulance readiness by conducting regular checks and ensuring all equipment is in top condition.
What We're Looking For:
Licensed Kentucky Paramedic (or eligible for reciprocity). Strong clinical skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations. Effective communication and teamwork to provide seamless patient care. Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift 125+ lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks. Commitment to upholding Madison County EMS's mission and values.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Current Kentucky Paramedic License Clear Criminal Background Check (No Felonies) Ability to pass a Physical Exam, Drug & Alcohol Screening Are You Ready to Answer the Call?
