This will be a role on our 911 dedicated units or a member willing to work 911/IFT. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and the ability to perform under pressure in critical situations. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing advanced life support and emergency medical care to patients in various settings, including pre-hospital environments and during transport to healthcare facilities. Responsibilities Assess patients' conditions through thorough patient assessment and vital signs monitoring. Administer emergency medical care, including airway management, medication administration, and injections. Perform triage to prioritize patient care based on the severity of their condition. Provide critical care transport for patients requiring advanced medical attention. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in Level I and Level II trauma centers to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, treatments provided, and outcomes. Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with other healthcare providers. Execute physical examinations and demonstrate proficiency in aseptic techniques. Operate emergency vehicles safely while adhering to all traffic regulations. Assist with heavy lifting and moving of patients as necessary during emergencies. Qualifications Current certification as a Paramedic or equivalent EMT experience. Critical care experience preferred, with familiarity in urgent care or emergency room settings. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for effective patient care. Experience with venipuncture and administering injections is highly desirable. Ability to manage stress effectively while providing high-quality patient care in fast-paced environments. Strong communication skills for collaboration with medical teams and clear documentation practices. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required for operating emergency vehicles.
