Part Time Night Shift Crisis Clinician Schedule:

Join LifeWays as a Crisis Clinician and become part of a mission-driven team dedicated to supporting individuals and families through their most challenging times. About the Role As a Crisis Clinician, youll be on the front lines of crisis intervention, responding to calls, de-escalating high-stress situations, and connecting individuals with the care they need. Every day, youll provide culturally competent, trauma-informed support while embodying LifeWays mission, vision, and values. This role is fast-paced, deeply rewarding, and vital to the wellbeing of our community. What Youll Do Lead in the moment: Respond to crisis calls, assess risk, and determine the safest, most effective interventions. Guide & support: Lead Mobile Crisis Aides and Peer Support Specialists during crisis responses. Stabilize & connect: Develop safety plans, provide crisis counseling, and ensure warm handoffs to ongoing services.
Collaborate:
Work closely with psychiatrists, hospitals, case holders, and community providers to secure the right care at the right time.
Empower clients:
Teach coping skills, anger management, crisis de-escalation, and communication strategies.
Be flexible:
Deliver services in diverse settingsfrom emergency rooms and schools to homes and community locations.
