Position Overview The ED Paramedic (EMT-P) provides direct patient care in the Trauma & Emergency Center under the supervision of an RN. This role supports pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, following established policies, procedures and competencies. Safe, confidential and patient-centered care is essential. PHTLS/BTLS

preferred (or obtained after hire) Three years of pre-hospital paramedic experience preferred Previous hospital experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer skills Work Environment & Physical Requirements Clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled environment Occasional exposure to mechanical equipment, infectious disease, chemicals or airborne particles Regular standing, walking, talking, hearing and fine motor skills Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and respond quickly in emergencies Requires good body mechanics, vision and ability to manage stressful situations Schedule 12-hour night shift (3p-3a) Full-time, 36 hours per week
