Position Overview The ED Paramedic (EMT-P) provides direct patient care in the Trauma & Emergency Center under the supervision of an RN. This role supports pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, following established policies, procedures and competencies. Safe, confidential and compassionate care is essential. PHTLS/BTLS

preferred (or obtained after hire) Three years of pre-hospital paramedic experience preferred Previous hospital experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer skills Work Environment & Physical Requirements Clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled environment Occasional exposure to mechanical equipment, infectious disease, chemicals or airborne particles Regular standing, walking, talking, hearing and fine motor skills Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and respond quickly in emergencies Requires good body mechanics, vision, and ability to manage stressful situations Schedule 12-hour night shift (3p-3a) Part-time, 24 hours per week
