The LEAD Clinic Paramedic, works under the supervision of the Practice Manager and under the direction of the provider and accepts responsibility for direction of the nursing staff in the implementation of patient care according to organizational policies and procedures. The LEAD Paramedic works within the scope of his/her practice and the polices of the organization to meet the needs of the patient and/or families.   • Ability to speak articulately to patients, physicians, and co-workers.
  • Must demonstrate precise eye/hand coordination and fine motor skills for IV procedures, pulse checks, blood pressure checks, injections, etc.
  • Assist and educate nursing staff to operate office equipment. Interpersonal Skills
  • Displays a friendly, positive attitude and communicates with patients, families, physicians and co-workers in a professional manner.

  • Ability to move/lift patients in wheelchairs to exam tables, to push/pull equipment, walking, standing, crouching, stooping, bending.
  • Must move, kneel, crouch, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift. Must follow good body mechanics. Essential Mental Abilities
  • Ability to collect thorough information regarding patient's condition and evaluate effects of care; must be able to visually inspect patient's condition.

  • Ability to visually assess patient condition; must be able to communicate with patient in order to assess condition and evaluate effects of care.
