Ketamine Infusion Therapy Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate paramedic to join our clinical team in providing ketamine infusion therapy for patients with treatment•resistant mental health. This role will focus on IV placement, patient monitoring, and ensuring a safe, supportive treatment environment under the supervision of a licensed provider.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and establish IV access for ketamine infusions Initiate and discontinue IV lines per protocol Continuously monitor patients during infusions. This includes vital signs, level of consciousness and overall response. Recognize and respond to adverse reactions or complications in a timely and professional manner Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in medical record Provide reassurance and education within your scope of practice to patients before, during, and after treatment Maintain a clean, organized and compliant clinical environment Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure high-quality care Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Commitment to compassionate, patient•centered care and willingness to follow clinical and safety protocols

Qualifications:

Current paramedic certification/licensure in Missouri Current

BLS , ACLS IV

therapy experience in strongly preferred Strong IV insertion skills with high success rate Ability to remain calm and attentive in a controlled clinical setting Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with coworkers and patients.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in infusion therapy, anesthesia support or critical care Familiarity with sedation monitoring and emergency response protocols Experience working in mental health or outpatient clinical settings

Outpatient clinic setting Calm, safe, supportive and therapeutic environment Training provided for ketamine protocols Opportunities for growth PRN for IV Ketamine infusions Monday (8:00am•4:00pm), Wednesday (1:00pm-5:00pm), Friday (1:00pm•5:00pm). No weekends or evenings.
