Full-time Days 7:00am-7:30pm/ 72 Hours Per Pay The Flight Paramedic functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence. The Flight Paramedic provides advanced emergency/critical are in conjunction with a CareFlight Nurse during transport. The Flight Paramedic utilizes evidence-based principles to provide safe and rapid transport of critically ill or injured patients by air ambulance or mobile intensive care to a higher-level medical treatment facility. The Flight Paramedic provides advanced emergency/critical care during medical transport and may also provide care within their scope of practice throughout Premier Health. This position also includes public relations and medical education functions.

Education Minimum Level of Education Required:

High School completion / GED Additional requirements: ▪ Type of degree: Certified as a Paramedic in the State of Ohio ▪ Area of study or major: N/A ▪ Preferred educational qualifications: N/A ▪ Position specific testing requirement: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration ▪ Paramedic in the State of Ohio The following certifications are required at the time of hire: ▪ BLS, ACLS and PALS The following certifications are required within the specified timeframe following hire: ▪ 90 Days

• ITLS or PHTLS ▪ 1 Year

• NRP, ATLS

  (audit) ▪ 2 Years
• CAMTS approved professional certification
