Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic emergency response team as a Paramedic incharge. In this vital role, you will provide immediate, high-quality pre-hospital care to patients in a variety of urgent and emergency situations. Your expertise in patient assessment, airway management, and vital signs will ensure swift and effective treatment while maintaining safety and professionalism at all times. Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency calls, providing essential pre-hospital medical care on scene and during transport. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs monitoring, to determine the severity of injuries or illnesses. Manage airway patency using appropriate techniques and equipment; administer oxygen therapy as needed. Perform basic life support procedures such as
CPR, AED
use, and bleeding control to stabilize patients. Assist with medication administration, injections, venipuncture, and other emergency medicine interventions following protocols. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care reports, incident logs, and transport records while ensuring confidentiality. Operate emergency vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws; perform heavy lifting when necessary to move equipment or assist patients. Collaborate closely with hospital staff during patient handoffs, providing detailed reports on patient condition and treatment provided. Experience Prior Paramedic experience with a valid
BLS, ALS & PALS
certifications. Critical care experience or background working within Level I or Level II trauma centers enhances your ability to handle complex cases. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and emergency medicine protocols is essential for effective patient assessment and treatment. Demonstrated ability to perform airway management, medication administration, venipuncture, and aseptic techniques confidently. Experience in critical care transport or urgent care environments is advantageous. Valid driving license with a clean driving record; ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly.
