AEMT 911 Part-Time

AmeriPro EMS is hiring experienced Advanced EMTs (AEMTs) to provide high-quality Advanced Life Support (ALS) care under approved protocols. This role is ideal for providers seeking increased clinical responsibility and growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities Provide BLS and limited ALS patient care in accordance with protocols Establish and maintain IV access and administer approved medications Perform advanced airway management, including supraglottic airways Assist Paramedics with ALS interventions when applicable Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring Safely operate emergency vehicles and equipment Accurately complete patient care documentation Maintain readiness of ambulance, equipment, and medications Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification Minimum of 2 years of experience in the EMS field preferred State specific EMT license in good standing / current NREMT certification if required by state Current certifications

CPR:

BLS, ACLS, PCC/PALS

Valid state specific Drivers' license Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate within a team Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written instructions in English Successful completion of a written and practical exam FEMA IS certs: (IS-100; IS-200; IS-700; IS-800) Certification/Licensure Requirements Tennessee AEMT certification in good standing Current National Registry certification (if required by state) Current CPR certifications: BLS and ACLS Valid state-issued driver's license FEMA IS certifications:

IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800

Physical Requirements Regularly uses hands to handle or feel objects, reach with arms, and communicate (talk/hear) Frequently required to stand and walk Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 180 pounds; occasionally up to 300 pounds with assistance Requires specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment Working Environment Due to the nature of EMS Care working conditions, employees may be exposed to inclement weather, potentially hazardous conditions, psychological stressors, diseases, and other illnesses. Frequent interruptions, work pressure, difficult personalities, and irregularities in work schedule are expected. Employees are subject to continually changing deadlines while performing the duties of this job.
