Anderson County EMS Team Our Mission:
We Care for Our Community At Anderson County EMS, our mission is simple — We Care for Our Community. That care extends beyond the people we serve to the team members who make our service possible. We believe that when you care for your employees, they can care better for others. That's why we're building a culture where every person is valued, supported, and empowered to grow — both personally and professionally. We know the work isn't easy. It demands heart, courage, and compassion. But here, you'll never stand alone. You'll be part of a team that believes in you — not because you're perfect, but because you care deeply and show up with purpose. We're not perfect either. But we're in this together — learning, growing, and making a difference one call at a time. When you join Anderson County EMS, you join a team that provides both 911 emergency services and convalescent transport to a geographically diverse community of more than 80,000 residents across 345 square miles. Our station-based system includes flexible posting move-ups during times of low unit availability, ensuring we deliver reliable responses. We respond to over 20,000 calls annually, operating with: Six 24-hour Advanced Life Support (ALS) units on a 24/72 shift rotation One 12-hour daytime ALS unit Five Basic Life Support (BLS) units on varied schedules
